When you visit the site
The website has no forms, does not use cookies and has no analytics or tracking tools. We do not collect personal data about you when you read the site.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the site and protect it against attacks and misuse, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and which browser you use. We do not use this information to find out who you are.
Cloudflare may process data outside the EEA. The transfer has a valid legal basis, such as the EU standard contractual clauses, as set out in Cloudflare's data processing agreement.
When you write to us
If you email the publisher or the author, we only use the information in your email to reply to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The email is deleted when the matter is closed and we no longer need it. If the enquiry leads to an agreement, for example about retail sales, the information is kept for as long as Norwegian accounting law requires.
When you buy the book
The book is bought in Vormedal Forlag's online shop, which is a separate website. The details you give when you shop there, such as your name, address and payment, are handled by the shop under its own privacy policy. This website has no access to them. When you go on to the online shop, the shop's own cookie rules also apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to restrict processing and object to processing. Send us an email and we will reply within 30 days.
If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
